Decluttering Consciously.

I am done with my days of binge decluttering. I want to wear everything I own. I want to shop my own closet. I don’t want to make a void by decluttering, only to fill it up again. I want intimacy with my things. I want the lows and the highs. I want to be bored of them. Then, I want to repurpose it into something that makes me un-bored. I want the romance to never die. I want my closet to be the cyclic economy that I idealize. I want each garment reinforcing the other, making a web of outfits. The boundaries of where the clothes begin and end, have changed for me. I have recently been fiddling with the terms ‘slow’, ‘luxury of time’ and ‘degrowth’. It’s a choice between short term fashion or long term style. This is where my head is at.
