My rules of jewelry are simple. Jewelry should resemble gazing at the stars in the sky and being enchanted by the sparkle in the night sky. It should expertly play with the light and never over shine the human wearing it. Station jewelry is my favorite kind. Half the jewelry I own are inspired by her yard necklaces. Her mesh scarf is what I would make my clients wear, if I was a red carpet stylist. Or what I would wear, if I had the money left over to spend, after matters more important to the heart are taken care of. I would wear it wrapped around a cashmere turtleneck in winter, if I could find an affordable brass version. Her lifestyle and creativity inspires me. Her independence and work ethic in-spite of being an heiress, makes me respect her more. This tribute by Kate Young, is a way to remember her by.
