A mysterious Mademoiselle got off the RV and found a way to come home with us on the day of the Global Climate Strike. Her name is Mina Huskador. We know almost nothing about this young woman’s past. Nothing except that her zest for life led her to escape from an abusive home and reach out for allies. She is a year old. She loves dogs and kids. She likes to play. She likes walks. She likes to cuddle. She loves humans in general. She manages to take naps in some gloriously cute positions on the couch. We, on the other hand, are out of depth and have a lot of learning to get up to speed. Instead of blogging, I will be reading about dog behaviour therapy and house training. I am switching out my yoga for outdoor runs to keep her stimulated. Instead of browsing stores, I will browse articles on reinforcement learning and planning trips to the vet. Suddenly, life feels short. Moments are slipping away and I need to savor the puppy-ness days while they last. I will be away till I settle into it.
She is beautiful! Enjoy your learning curb. Unsolicited advice, long walks are much easier on dogs then runs, especially young dogs that are still developing their bones and joints. Antlers! The only chew thing that has kept my dogs (past and present) from eating my home!
Well done you for giving her a home! Although I must say i doslike the idea of you NOT BLOGGING for us;)
She’s really cute. I’ll wait eagerly for the posts to return though – I’ve shut down my insta account and this is my only source of you now. I’t funny to get my fix through blogs again – some people were always up on my feed but I really have not felt the urge to go and read their sites and articles now. I guess I’ll know to make a clean up of who I follow if/when I get back on the social media train…
