- Went on a road trip to Yale and was impressed. I lived in a campus town for so many years and miss the energy/vibrance of university living. To have folks reading and discussing such wide range of topics in cafes, libraries and the streets felt like home.
- Can you slow down time ? I think yes. When you experience moments that are so perfect, it does. I had one such moment last week.
- Am reading Richard Feynman’s The Pleasure of Finding things out. It is intoxicating to be seduced by science and words.

I am a data scientist, but I am a beginner at Python (I use R and Matlab). I would love it if you would share your code? I am trying to shop more secondhand, but I am finding that the secondhand market is more competitive than ever. Is it just me?

I have a python script for craigslist that is fine tuned for the Bay Area’s pages. Give me a week. I will clean it up and upload it on to github.
I agree. Second hand shopping has become like an auction. Its good that some version of a cyclic economy is working. Its not so good that second hand shopping isnt as accessible to all as it used to be. Two years ago, I was getting paranoid that in the future, I wont be able to find the things I do at the prices I want. So I went ahead and bought some extra things when the price was too good to be true. Its helped me sustain over the longer run.
